Dr Andreas Danzer, Biochemical and Chemical Engineering at TU Dortmund
Dr Andreas Danzer studied Chemical Engineering at Technical University Berlin and received his Master of Science degree in 2015. After that, he started his doctorate at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and received his PhD in Chemical Engineering in 2018 with the thesis “Liquid-liquid equilibrium and interfacial properties of reactive mixtures”. Since 2019, he works as group leader “Kinetics of Pharmaceutical Formulations” at the chair of thermodynamics at the TU Dortmund University. The focus of his research is the thermodynamic modelling of phase equilibria and kinetics relating to amorphous solid dispersions, such as diffusive mass transport, dissolution kinetics and crystallization kinetics.
